My Vison Creates Reality

At what point do you stop denying yourself your dreams?

Is it at the timing point of adulthood, or the teenage conditioning that dampens our spirit so we become more pliable?

For the vast majority of my life, I've felt the ever tightening reins and I've always bucked them; pulling them away to chase the freedom.

But then I find myself wandering aimlessly for too long, trying to rebalance after the trauma that I forget what I was chasing.

Why was I resisting too much?

It is that moment where that loss of direction causes me to be swept up in the generic flow. I try to get in the rhythm to take a few steps and realise - this doesn't fit me.

It's not my pace, it's too confined and ignores all the wonder of the journey.

I get frustrated that I remained blind to deception for soo long that I spend my moments away resetting and regulating my system.

It's this constant cycle, that feels like an achievement in every moment I break free, but it doesn't change the repeated patterns of falling back into pre-designed restrictive flow.

I see myself now, finding a snippet of clarity whilst experiencing that space to breathe. A recognition of "what am I doing" and "why do I keep going back?". It's that fear piece.

That thought of "what if I fail?".

But what is the reality of failing whilst living that moment of freedom?

Experience.

A moment where you can confidently say, I tried that. It didn't work out, but I am so glad I had the opportunity to learn that lesson. Not every experience is for us, and when we conform and forget our dreams we cheat ourselves out of knowing what could have been.

More than that - who we could have become.

When we allow ourselves to submit to our spirit, focus our desires, our visions can become our reality. So where does this ideology leave me now?

What do I do with the knowledge that I am repeating patterns of returning to the landscape that no longer fits. How do I wake myself earlier from the aimless wandering and turn it into a focus to chase my vision from myself, to embrace my dreams.

It's about making these dreams into actionable steps. What reward or gratification will I receive if I complete a step towards something better. The small moments equate to small achievements. To the wins that build better habits. Better habits lead to less frequent lapses into the conforming moments; so that one day, all you know are the dreams you created and followed into absolute magic.

So where to start?

Starting by defining what the dream is?

What conventional paths am I willing to sacrifice the dream and how bold can I be in chasing that dreams?

I am realistic to the fact that there are circumstantial confines, that there are some aspects unchangeable. But these can also be the pillar is which I form my non-negotiable. The reasons why my dreams are what they are.

Reasons like family, relationships and the financial support network that currently exists. These can be the factors, that when dreams come closer to fruition, they evolve and transform.

For the moment of now, I recognise that I am shaking things up in my universe, that I am on the precipice of real change.

To commit or quit.

To expand in so much more that the life I live in right now.

It's about achieving it in a way that aligns with my heart.

The core of my being.

For right now, I am working towards making my vision, create my reality.
