A Return To Light

The season of becoming - an introductory season to a collectable themed artworks, distributed through the Inner Light Society art club subscription.

Every season our soul has an opportunity to evolve. To choose the moments in which we survive or thrive.

When we have recurring moments of survival, our psyche begins to convince our minds that this is the state in which we belong and we find ourselves subconsciously choosing the darker, unfulfilling paths.

Bending our hearts to the beats of others.

This series of curated artwork is more than a homecoming, it is a season of becoming. It's slowly leading the soul along the winding paths towards the dappled sunshine to find the moments where we absolutely thrive.

This journey over the next three months is a return to the light.

We begin with a remembering, a coming home to self, it's a subtle light emerging from the darkness.

We then journey into becoming, a soul expansion through self-discovery, we are preparing to bloom.

And the we close out the season cycle by owning our radiance. We are embodying the light and embracing sovereignty. An ownership of who we are and what we have to offer the world.

Through this season, not only will you enjoy artwork centered around these themes, you will also have the mindfulness practice to expand on it.

A moment of presence to sink deeper into the theme and contemplate the translation of art within your soul.

To continue on with this intention, a reflection of my thoughts whilst creating the artwork will inspire you to sit with the meaning behind it all, and paired journal prompt will encourage you to expand on what shows up for you.

This is more than consumable visual expression, it's art as ritual. A tool to connect with the truth that lies within us all when we pause long enough to just be.

The greater question being asked here, how are you willing to participate to returning to the light?

REMEMBERING

The remembering, a coming home to self.

An emergence into the light.

This artwork is an invitation to delve a deeper in the observation. The eye symbolising our ability to see beyond, and that which we allow ourselves to percieve can grow wonders.

A slow creeping vine is making it's way to the surface, a vision of the eye and reaching for the magic under the moonlight. Rays of light spread from the eye, encouraging a sense of inate magic, the unseen power behind potential growth.

As the sapling emerges, they are met with a homecoming, surrounded by the buzz of light and life and you can literally see the energy connect with the night sky.

It is an ode to your origins, hidden amongst growth and remembered through reflections.

This piece is asking you... What part of me is ready to be remembered?

BECOMING

Becoming is an evolution, an expression through self discovery.

Focused around the central placement of a lotus,

this symbolism is commonly represented around the idea of

enlightenment and detachment.

Growing from murky waters to bloom in the dawning light,

it is believed that the blue lotus is linked to wisdom,

an innate knowledge of self and the victory of spirit over the senses.

In this artwork, the lotus blooming amongst growth, clear in it’s path.

Redefining the focus from last months theme - Remembering.

The lotus flowers bloom in a radiating path around the geometry of

lotus symbolism.

A statement that once we acknowledge the who and the foundation

on which we grow, we can truly become a power beyond imagining.
