EMBRACE - My Word of the Year

At the beginning of every year I reflect on what was and ponder what will be.

I take the time to sit and meditate how I flowed through the year and what was the core theme of the lessons learnt, or the theme around the circumstances that repeatedly showed up.

Over the few years that I have been doing this practice, the word I have intuitively chosen has appropriately encapsulated the life I experienced.

Not all of it was the dreams I wanted to manifest, however the lessons I learnt were invaluable to my personal growth and the way I held myself in my environment.

This year, after a ritual practice, the word that appear over and over was embrace.

EMBRACE - an act of accepting something willingly or enthusiastically.

This word sat deep, and after further investigating the definition - even more so.

On top of discovering my word/theme for the year ahead, I also write a little letter to myself. An intuitive insight to reflect and set the tone what is to divulge itself in the months ahead.

These reflections have been so intriguing to revisit when contemplating the next theme, and I love that I have kept reference to them in my journals. I've also linked blog posts where I've talked about previous word/themes.

• Personal Power.

You've surrendered to the flow, found alignment in letting go of self expectation and you certainly flourished in knowing your worth, individual power and setting boundaries.

This year is opportunity to EMBRACE it all. It becomes the stable of your being, the core of who you are, your signature move.

You accept it all willingly and enthusiastically, because all of it is growth and experience towards contentment in self. A homecoming to your spirituality.

Find the moments to act accordingly, without question and full ownership > in other words, let go of fear and send it!

By embracing your heart and soul fully, you build foundations stronger to your formidable spirit and the light you bring to the universe, it is time to embrace everything that you are.
